Why should you watch Doctor Who?

Doctor Who is a British science fiction TV programme which is aired for 50 years. It has a high number of viewers in United Kingdom. According to Wikipedia, Doctor Who is about the time lord who called the Doctor always saves the universe, especially the Earth. The Doctor has a time machine that can travel through time and space which is called TARDIS.

BBC has broadcast 50th Anniversary Doctor Who over 170 countries around the world.

Why should you watch it?

— The Doctor can be an inspirational person. And this is my essay about him.

My hero is the Doctor. He is a character in the British science fiction TV series ‘Doctor Who’. The Doctor is a time lord who travels through time and space by TARDIS. He is a man who has fixed many problems as a doctor of the universe.

The Doctor has been a doctor of the universe for more than a millennium. He stops a lot of bad things from happening. He has helped every man in the earth from bad aliens, for example, Daleks, Sontarans, and Cybermen. He paid attention to other people, not think of himself.  He also has justice and generosity. He always gives misdemeanor a chance to abjure the crime and reform oneself.

Another reason he is my hero is that he has volunteered to protect most creatures in the universe from bad aliens and space disasters. He was traveling through time to London in 1941, World War II. London was attacked by Nazi German. Then atrocious aliens which are called Daleks came to London. They wanted to make people kill themselves. They installed the machine that turned on all the lights in London. Thus, Nazi German could easily attack London in the night. The Doctor was trying to break the machine. Finally, he accomplished it. London and the World were safe from Daleks again by the Doctor. Many people who know him love him because of his goodness and conscientiousness.

I often think about how lucky people are to have someone like him to protect them from enormous aliens. From the Doctor’s story, I have learned that everyone in the universe is equally important because the Doctor helps everyone who he can help. If someone disappears, the whole universe’s story will never be the same. Furthermore, if you are really patient and mindful to do something, your work will be successful as the Doctor has done. All of these make me become more dedicated when I do something, and give me a better view of life.
